WW1 Local Honour Roll (1919)

Honor Roll

The following list of WW1 soldiers "from our Town of Tillsonburg and its neighbourhood enlisted, trained and went overseas to do their part in the great war".

There are a couple of hard copies in the Annandale Heritage Museum but this version was loaned to me after being purchased on eBay, hence you will see additions and remarks beside the names of some soldiers. I am not sure of the significance of the stars beside some.  They may have been names of men that the original owner of the booklet knew.  They do not denote a death on the battlefield.

The publisher is unknown to me but many towns produced such Honor (sic) Rolls after the war.
