Local Hero Award




Within Tillsonburg and its environs, there are individuals and organizations whose past achievements and ongoing contributions have enriched our lives. The Tillsonburg Military History Club wishes to recognize their special participation in the community with the presentation of our Local Hero Award


Awards Criteria:
In choosing the recipients of the Local Hero Award, regard is given to
• their recognition of our military history, tradition and cultural heritage
• their enormous contribution, sacrifice and commitment to our community
• finding solutions to community challenges
• the inspirational impact they have on others
• the awaking of the historical foundation of our area
• their tireless and selfless work/projects to make this town a better place
• possessing an ability to build on the unique strengths within our community
• overcoming barriers to achieve their aim

Please get permission from the nominee before submitting. An individual need only be nominated once to be considered. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
